Scan mode Whole market pulls each trading day once and gets history for every symbol at the same time. That is the mode you want unless your plan is call-limited.

Symbol cap A safety ceiling on memory, not a target. The liquidity gate is what actually sets your universe — at the default gate the whole US market comes to roughly 1,500–2,500 names.

Concurrent requests Throttles itself downward automatically if Polygon starts rate limiting.

Symbols to pull (top-symbols mode) Only used in top-symbols mode.

Minimum price ($) Filters sub-liquid and penny names before anything else runs.

Minimum dollar volume ($M, 50d) Your exit has to exist too. This is the real universe definition.

Session cache Past sessions never change, so each is downloaded once and reused.

OpenRouter API key (optional) Only used for the per-row plain-language note. The scan itself never calls it.

Model for notes Loaded live from OpenRouter once a key is saved.

Keys: your Polygon key ships inside this file because you are the only user — keep the file off any public host. The OpenRouter key you pasted in chat should still be rolled.
